This beautiful Heirloom Lace Shawl can be used for a baby blanket, a shawl, or with cobweb weight yarn, a lovely fine scarf for yourself or a friend. I made the gossamer weight shawl for my friend Joanne. When I showed it to her she said it was exquisite and it was meant for framing, not for a baby. How lovely of her! Although the cobweb yarn is not my favourite to knit with, the finished result is so incredibly light and soft, and warm. It truly gives a beautiful, gossamer like result. There is no way for a photo to show this. The 2 play lace weight yarn is much easier to knit with.
