I was looking for a new crochet challenge, now that it seems to be so 'in'. I loved the granny squares look which was given a modern twist in this pattern. I used Rowan Summerlite dk for the main colour and Paintbox cotton dk yarns for the contrast colours. I added an extra band at the bottom of the sweater and the sleeves, and made the neck band a little wider to suit me. It was fun to make.... until it came to sewing in the yarn ends! I'm soooo pleased with this top and can't wait to wear it out.
