I fancied the wool first of all, the King Cole Explorer range is subtle, colourful and very cosy. 80% Acrylic 20% wool. 100gm ball 87 yds / 80 metres.Being super chunky I knew it would knit up quickly. I looked for a suitable pattern for something I wanted. I made it in the second size 81/86cm ( I am a size 12 top, 39” chest) it fits beautifully as the soft knit has a stretchy quality). As I like things a little longer than these short jumpers that just reach your waist, I knitted the front and back to 46cm instead of 41cm to give me that bit more length. I bought an extra ball of wool (9 in total) but was surprised that I didn’t need it. I might make myself a cheeky chunky bobble hat with the remainder😉. I would recommend this yarn.
