I wanted to make a happy doll to give my daughter, she lives alone and is self isolating, with thankfully mild symptoms. She really needs a hug from her mum but I'm hoping this happy rainbow doll will cheer her up for now. I used lovely bright Paintbox yarns simply DK to knit the stripes for this rainbow doll. As I was using double knit (light worsted) yarn for the whole doll I used 3.25mm needles . I changed colours every four rows. I simply tied the ends together at each colour change and tucked them inside when I was sewing up so no nasty ends to weave in! I changed needle size and used 4mm for the hood and ears.

That is adorable! Does your pattern instruct how to make those eyes look indented that way? The face looks so lifelike, unlike most stuffed dolls.
