A friend asked me to make a shawl for her 9 year old daughter. She brought me the yarn and asked me to make it however I chose. Because she gave me more pink yarn than gray, I knew pink would have to be the primary color for the project. To get the shawl to have a tighter weave to it, instead of doing treble crochets, I did double crochets for the clusters. I also used a G hook for those rows and a F hook for the alternating rows with the gray yarn. I added fringe on the ends. My friend and her daughter love it! In fact, the second pic she took when she went to tuck her daughter in for the night and found her snuggled under her shawl!
