4ply Cardie
First time knitting a cardie for myself in 4 ply, has taken a while, but did keep leaving off to knit socks. However lovely and light on the needles. Will definately knit in 4 ply again. Good pattern clear easy to follow. Love the colour of the yarn, rich teal, photos don't really do it justice. Feels very light and comfortable, however a little dissapointed in finished appearance of the yarn. Not been worn or washed yet wet blocking only. The surface looks a bit fuzzy, pilling. Like a cardie you have had for a while. So not sure how it will wear. (see close up photo) Also this is a soft yarn, with out a lot of body to it. Dispite blocking the frount top edges tend to roll outward a bit, dispite blocking.

This is really beautiful. Love the colour. Must have taken some knitting in 4 ply.

It looks beautiful, such a gorgeous colour and pattern, so beautifully knitted too, it looks lovely on you 😊

Lovely cardi Jean, looks great on you. Teal is also one of my favourite colours. Another great pattern from Isabell Kraemer. It’s disappointing when you’ve spent ages knitting something for it to be fuzzy before you even wear it (my Darkwater was the same) but if you don’t manage to live with the fuzziness of the yarn you could always get a fabric shaver to de-pill it. I have one and it’s great, wouldn’t be without it. Great job on this though, may have to put this on my list.

Lovely cardigan Jean. I love fine knits A lot of work, beautifully done.

It’s lovely Jean. Instantly recognisable as Jaycee🥰 I used Drops Nord for this which is equally light, drapes beautifully and very soft. Recently went to Grey Sheep open day and saw Jaycee knitted in the recommended yarn which also looked a bit pilled.

A beautiful cardi Joan ,, & I just love the colour .

What a lovely pattern Jean. And my favourite colour too. I used this yarn for a cardigan which I actually use as a bed jacket. I can’t say I have had any trouble with pilling so far, so I hope yours will be OK. 😊

Love the style & colour, i do hope it will wear ok, beautifully knitted 😊
