I am currently knitting a new scarf using the Karlskrona Scarf pattern. This is such a lovely warm scarf and the texture always catches the light in such an interesting way. I usually knit this one in a much thicker yarn but I wanted to try a version using some new-to-me DK yarn, Mashdale by Filcolana. ◌ So I have been pre-washing my yarn, then skeining it back up and have now made a start with the knitting – always an exciting stage!
