Pixie loves princesses, pink, dressing up…… This just had to be made! Most of the pattern was straightforward. Joining the pink colour in as per pattern was just too time consuming. I knitted this part separately with a stretchy cast on then attached with gentle and stretchy hand sewing. Purely my preference! Crown depth (see photo) is more true crown than beanie. If you want a practical and weather resistant hat add a few more rows to the coloured crown before you start the decreases. Metallic yarn was used double.
