This project started out as a random granny square blanket, that i intended to create over the course of a year, but when my daughter was diagnosed with a scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and needed surgery, i decided to fast track this project. In five weeks i made two thirds of the squares so that they would be joined in time for her hospital visit. This was orginally going to be a relaxed, no pressure kind of project, but having a deadline was really motivating. I love how it's turned out.....i still have a few rounds of Dcs to go, but it made it to the hospital in one piece and that's the main thing.
