I started knitting this shawl last summer hence its called (winter on my mind), but when I got to the white snowflake part, it took me over a year to complete it. I really loved the picture and thought no problem, I can easily make it. Every row took me over 15mins as you have to purl from the back of the loop on each 2nd row that needs constant attention. I like to watch TV when I knit, so I put this project away for ages. I had many compliments on it and it was well worth it, definitely my most challenging project for some time.

I only crochet so this project is beyond my abilities. But it's lovely to see and the work you put in it was well worth it!

Wow I love your shawl Beata the colours are lovely together, the design is so different and how cool is the snowflake pattern. Such a lot of work but so worth it.Very elegant.😊😊
