Product Details
Dramatic twisting cables embellish the neckline of this elegant pullover, while smaller cables add delicate accents to the cuffs and hem. The silhouette, with modified drop shoulders, is simple, yet sophisticated, making this sweater an instant classic.
CONSTRUCTION: Back and front are knit separately from the bottom up. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the modified drop shoulder sleeves and knit flat to the cuffs. Sides and underarms are seamed. Stitches are picked up for ribbing at the neck.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include cables, German short rows, 3-needle bind off, m1 increases, decreases, and picking up stitches.
GAUGE: 23 sts/32 rows = 4" in stockinette, blocked.
FINISHED BUST: 37½ (39¾, 41¾, 43¾, 46, 48¾)(50¾, 52¾, 55, 57, 59¼)".
